What's Happening at the Marketplace

Attention non-profits - the RomWeber Marketplace would like to offer the use of our exhibit area, over 8,000 sq. ft. for any fundraising event that you would like to hold. We will host your event at no charge to your organization. Please note this is only for non-profit organizations with a valid tax id. Examples of events that have been held at the Marketplace include a fundraiser featuring the band 650 North benefiting Lucas Hullemeyer, RAA's Murder Mystery Dinner Theater and Oldenburg Academy's Semi-formal dance. We have a game arcade area, a food court and rest rooms that would be included. Off street parking is available. The Marketplace is completely handicapped accessible. February 11 - 12 Feb 11th	Valentine's Day Gift Show - gift from the heart. Show will showcase artisans, jewelry makers, florists and other gifts appropriate for Valentine's Day. Shop over 40 specialty and permanent vendors for unique and affordable gifts for your sweetheart. Show hours Saturday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Applications now being accepted for the show. See home page for application. Attention Ladies - just alittle spicy ladies night; let's get ready for Valentine's Day learn the art of belly dancing with belly dancing lessons from a professional belly dancer. Includes door prizes, complimentary wine and appetizers. Come find the perfect gift for your sweetheart and dance the night way from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Event is free to the public.


March 9	Preview Night for 2nd Annual Indiana Art Show - celebrating Handcrafted and Homegrown, a guide to southeastern Indiana resident artisans. Preview Night hours 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a $10 admittance charge which includes refreshments and appetizers. Reservations required email info@romwebermarketplace.com.


March 10 - 11	Indiana Art Show - Ripley County Tourism Bureau and Rural Alliance for the Arts presents the 2nd Annual Indiana Art Show celebrating Handcrafted and Homegrown, a guide to southeastern Indiana resident artisans. Show will showcase featured artists from Ripley County Tourism's guide to southeastern Indiana artisans. Door prizes donated by the artists will be given away throughout the show, no purchase necessary. Show hours Saturday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. May 4	Derby Party - Come celebrate Derby weekend with a special lunch featuring Kentucky Derby favorites like Burgoo, Kentucky Hot Brown, a little slice of bluegrass heaven - Derby Pie and a beverage of your choice served in an authentic Derby Glass. Reservations required info@romwebermarketplace.com. Cost is $15.00 per person and includes an authentic Kentucky Derby glass.


May 5 & 6	Mother's Day Gift Show - shop over 60 specialty and permanent vendors to find the perfect gift for Mom. Show will feature artisans, jewelry makers, florists and other gifts appropriate for Mother's Day. Show hours Saturday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. May 5	Mother - Grandmother - Daughter Breakfast - a perfect time to celebrate being together. Enjoy breakfast together, and then do a little shopping at the Mother's Day show. Breakfast begins at 9:00 am. Reservations required, cost is $7.00 per person. Email reservations to info@romwebermarketplace.com. Centerpiece door prizes.
